LinQs has a long association with the Domiciliary Care Sector.

Initially as Gill Bailey, owner of LinQs, established a domiciliary care business in 1992 and operated until 2002 and during that time held a non-executive role on the management committee of the UK Home Care Association, known as the UKHCA.  Then from 2002 to 2006, LinQs delivered consultancy contracts on 3 UK ESF Workforce Development Strategies delivered in England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.  In the early days of these consultancy projects, Gill was involved in the development of the UKHCA NVQ Centre and the introduction of their level 2 and 3 in care awards which gained recognition for its quality standard of distance learning for the sector.  To this day Gill delivers Business Growth and Leadership workshops for the UKHCA.

Throughout the introduction of LinQs, we have worked with local authorities to deliver management and leadership development projects which include the domiciliary care sector.  The most recent of these was during 2015 to 2016, when Gill wrote the learning resources and delivered a 5 module rolling workshop programme for private sector managers to develop their strategic leadership under the Doncaster Transformation of Health & Social Care.
